Bulls and Bushrangers combine to debut the new Tony Ireland Stadium

Townsville/Thuringowa's new stadium kicked off with a 20/20 cricket match between the Queensland Bulls and the Victorian Bushrangers.  Despite the heat it was a full house and hopefully we will see plenty more sporting events of this calibre in Townsville.  I smell an AFL pre-season game!

My renewed interest in the Goldfield Ashes!

I have been to heaps of Goldfield Ashes, mainly to cover them for the Sunday Mail newspaper. This year however, it was a bit different. This year there was something that was really worth photographing. A team of girls from Townsville called "Got No Balls". Thanks to Arianna, Angela, Bree and the rest of the girls for their co-operation!
