WiFi in Townsville?
Is it just me or are we in the wifi dark ages in Townsville? Hopefully someone can point me in the right direction because I don't know of a single coffee shop in Townsville that offers free or even paid wifi. One caveat however - you can't count the rip-off Telstra wifi at McDonald's restaurants!

Have you found any Wi-Fi hotspots yet? I typed "free wi-fi Townsville" and found your blog because I'm having the same problem. In the states you can walk into any Starbucks or other coffee shop with your laptop and use the Internet for free for as long as you like. It's been frustrating because I haven't been able to find free Wi-Fi since I've been in Australia.
